I have worked for numerous regional and international schools, theaters, universities, hotels, recording studios, churches and private households, professional world class musicians and producers in LA, Denver, Boston and NYC.Though I know/use both methods, I prefer to tune by ear with pitch forks rather than using a machine/app. After a year of working with this tuner, I began tuning professionally.It involved text book work, following her to tuning/repair appointments, and a lot of practice on my own piano.
In 2007, I began an apprenticeship with the tuner that tuned my piano as a child.I have been playing since I was 7 and took a strong interest in tuning and repairing them immediately following my graduation from college.
